WEBINAR | Considerations for the "New Normal" for Healthcare Organizations

Wakefield Brunswick CEO Angela Devlen discusses the “New Normal” facing healthcare organizations in this webinar replay, originally aired May 6, 2020.

One of the main concerns facing hospitals right now is how we are going to adapt and overcome following the COVID-19 pandemic. These concerns are impacting many of the organizations that we work with here in the US and Canada. As we work together to create solutions moving forward, we want to connect with our healthcare risk and resiliency community.

WE NEED OPERATIONAL SOLUTIONS THAT ARE FLUID AND THAT ALLOW US TO ADDRESS HOW WE’RE ACTUALLY BEING IMPACTED AND THEN PIVOT OUR RESPONSE ACCORDINGLY.

We must consider how are we going to be doing all of the things we normally do operationally, and within emergency management while thinking of our “new normal” from an operational recovery standpoint. Contrary to our “old normal,” this new normal will require a more staggered approach to recovery. We have the opportunity to design an operational model that may not look like the one that we operated in, in a pre-COVID environment.
