Fifteen years ago I founded Wakefield Brunswick. Since that time, we have had the privilege of advising and collaborating with the leading healthcare organizations nationwide. It is a special milestone and I am excited to share new details as we kick off the New Year — I am stepping down as CEO of Wakefield Brunswick.
I am extremely proud to announce that effective January 2, 2024, Christopher Sonne will serve as our new CEO.
Since Chris initially joined our leadership team here at Wakefield Brunswick, he has devoted himself to growing our company and our team. His commitment to being a strategic, authentic, heart-centered leader is essential to the next chapter of the company’s journey.
One of the things our leadership team has focused on the past three years was intentional, yet managed growth to prepare the company for its next chapter. A commitment to the legacy of our work was our compass.
I believe that when we create something, especially when we know that someday it will remain when we move on, we aim to build something meaningful that can continue without us. I believe legacy is more than how we are remembered — I believe it is how others thrive and benefit as a result of what we have done, how we have done it, and the way we served as were doing it. I believe it is something that endures.
As I transition out of the role of CEO, please be assured that my commitment to supporting our client projects will persist, and I look forward to continue contributing in new capacities moving forward.
With gratitude,
Angela Devlen
